Special Note About Recipe Attribution
We want to be extra clear about this since it’s important to us:
When You Use Our Recipes: If you’re a food blogger or have a cooking website, you’re welcome to make our recipes and share your experience. We just ask that you:
- Link back to our original recipe
- Don’t copy our entire recipe text share your own version with your own words and photos
- Give credit where it’s due: “Adapted from [recipe name] by Vegan Recipes Guide”
When We Use Others’ Recipes: We do the same. If we adapt a recipe from another source, we credit them properly. If we create something completely original, we say so.
Recipe Inspiration: Recipes often evolve from multiple sources and traditions. We don’t claim to have invented vegan mac and cheese or chocolate chip cookies. But our specific version, with our instructions, tips, and photos, is our original work.
A Final Word
Look, legal documents are never fun to read, but they protect both of us. These terms basically boil down to: use our content respectfully, be kind to our community, understand that we’re providing information (not medical advice), and give credit where it’s due.
We created Vegan Recipes Guide to help people cook delicious plant based food. We want you to use our recipes, share them with friends, and enjoy them. We just ask that you respect our work in the process.
If anything in these terms is unclear or you have questions, email Emma at [email protected]. We’re real people and happy to clarify.
Thanks for being part of our community!
